Other apparatus used in the project
Automatic laboratory particle counter
During the implementation of the project, it is planned to purchase an automatic laboratory particle counter. The device is dedicated to determine the number of particles in infusion solutions, intravenous lipid emulsions, parenteral nutrition admixtures, ophthalmic drugs, suspensions, and water in accordance with the requirements of the following pharmacopoeial monographs: USP <787>, USP <788>, USP <789>, EP, BP, JP, KP, and IP. The device will measure the particle size using a single particle optical sizing (SPOS) method in accordance with the requirements of USP monograph 729.
The device description / technical data A flow and volume control system: min. 16 measurement channels Measuring range from 1 µm to minimum 200 µm Max. particle concentration: 120,000 particles/mL at a flow of 10 mL/min Sample volumes from 100 µL to 1000 mL
